Recently I have had the desire to experiment with creating more graphic novels and short visual stories. Here is my lastest one: a short story about the struggle to find meaning in modern urban life. Perhaps an alternative to the endless anonymous grind is possible. I draw these pages on an iPad with the Procreate app, and then I import them into Photoshop where I write the text. Just when I could not get any nerdier, I have begun to take some of my drawings and turn them into short visual stories (laughs). This is the first chapter in a collection with the provisionary working title "Light in Empty Spaces" which is intended to explore themes that will include existential anxiety, nostalgia, the search for meaning in modern technocratic life, zen philosophy, ecology and the relationship between architecture and nature. ______________________________ ***
